The places in the photos
The Golden Bridge, Ba Na Hills (Da Nang). The bridge held up by two giant stone hands is one of the most photographed spots in Vietnam, and a favourite for couples. Go early in the day, before the tour groups arrive.
Hang Mua viewpoint (Ninh Binh). A climb up the stone steps leads to a viewpoint over limestone karsts, rice fields and the river. It is often called Vietnam's answer to Ha Long Bay, without the sea.
Lotus fields near Ninh Binh. A boardwalk across the lotus fields makes a quiet, scenic photo stop. Lotus bloom is seasonal, so ask us about timing for your dates.
