Quick answer: Maldives room names are not standardised. At one resort a Jacuzzi Water Villa is an overwater villa on stilts with no private pool, just a jacuzzi and sundeck. At another, a Lagoon Villa is half over the water, and at a third it is a premium overwater villa. Always ask the resort for its own definition, the villa's position and whether it is overwater.
