Why Trripah Flight Club Only Takes 9 Requests Per Day — And Why That's a Feature, Not a Bug

Most flight booking platforms are designed for speed and volume. Flight Club is designed for accuracy. Here's why a limit of 9 daily slots consistently produces better prices than any algorithm.

When people first hear that Flight Club takes only 9 booking requests per day, the usual reaction is frustration. Why would you cap something artificially?

The short answer: it's not artificial. It's what produces the result.

How retail flight booking works

When you search on MakeMyTrip or Cleartrip, an algorithm pulls fares from a single GDS feed and shows you the cheapest result it finds in under a second. This is very fast. It's also showing you one layer of the available inventory — the publicly cached retail fares.

Getting a better fare requires more work. You need to check multiple consolidator feeds. You need to test different routing options (sometimes flying via an alternative hub cuts the price significantly). You need to check whether a different fare class on the same flight opens up better pricing. You need to account for baggage and seat fees that OTAs often exclude from their displayed totals.

That process, done properly, takes time. Not hours — but 45 minutes to 2 hours per booking, depending on the route complexity.

Why 9 slots

With a team focused on quality fare research, 9 slots is roughly what can be done properly in a working day. Each request gets real human attention: checking multiple sources, comparing routing options, and presenting you with a fare that is genuinely the best available — not the first result that came back from a single feed.

If we took 50 requests a day, we'd have to cut corners. We'd end up being a slower, more expensive version of MakeMyTrip — which would be pointless.

What you get from the process

When you submit to Flight Club, here's what happens: your route is researched across multiple consolidator sources and routing options. We compare the best result against current retail pricing to confirm the saving is real. We send you the fare on WhatsApp with a 4-hour validity window (fares move fast — we can't hold inventory indefinitely).

If it works for you, you pay and we issue the ticket. If it doesn't, no charge, no obligation. We don't earn anything unless you book.

When slots fill up

Slots reset at 10 AM IST every day. If today's slots are gone, you'll see a message on the Flight Club page. You can either come back tomorrow, or WhatsApp us directly — we sometimes carry a small waitlist for people who missed the day's slots.

The scarcity is real. It's also what makes the product work.
